What if…
We all come across a point in our lives where we want to change things, where we hadn’t done certain things and done some others, that we hadn’t taken risks, taken some other paths. There are always things we would like to change. But there are also times where we look at where we stand in the very moment, and wouldn’t change a thing. Not because it is perfect, as there is no such thing as perfection. But because we feel that this place where we stand is the very place where we should be. And with the new year that has just started, it seems to be a perfect time to do this, to start anew if we want to, or to keep walking the same path with even more passion…
This questioning, this doubt, the band members all had it too, a few years ago…
What if they weren’t part of Your Favorite Enemies? Who would they be? What would their lives be like??? But no matter what kind of wrong turns they did, no matter what choices they made, I guess they’re in the right direction!
What if Jeff wasn’t part of Your Favorite Enemies?
– He would be a truck engineer, driving trucks and other heavy machinery! And probably the leader of the workers union! But hmmm… I think there’s too much creativity inside of him to only be driving trucks… he’d probably be doing 2-3 other things at the same time!
What if Moose wasn’t part of Your Favorite Enemies?
– He would be a priest or something similar to it… All about the soul and spirit!
What if Alex wasn’t part of Your Favorite Enemies?
– He would be a baseball player… He was wearing a Montreal Expos jersey in the video, but I’m pretty sure he’d be with San Francisco at the moment…! It’s kind of funny to know that the passion he had for baseball in his teenage years came back only 2 years ago, but it feels like it had never left him. Have a question about baseball? Forget Google. He knows the answer!
What if Ben wasn’t part of Your Favorite Enemies?
– Hairdresser??? I can picture this pretty well! But I don’t think he’d be your corner-of-the-street barber shop employe… lol! Rather than hairdressing, I’d see him as a hair stylist, doing styling contests, and always finding a way to make the impossible come true… lol!
What if Miss Isabel wasn’t part of Your Favorite Enemies?
– Doctor, head of the emergency, or something like that… Though it can be hard to picture right now, it does totally fit her!!! To be a girl in a band with 5 other guys requires some guts, and she does have it!
What if Sef wasn’t part of Your Favorite Enemies?
– Hmmm… eating flowers? Well, I’m sure he’d be getting along with his ponies just fine… 😉

Es ist lustig zu sehen, was jeder sein würde. Und um ehrlich zu sein, außer für Sef, kann ich mir jeden in diesem Beruf vorstellen. Besonders Moose als Priester passt.
Trotzdem ist es am besten, dass sie alle Musiker sind und zusammen als Your Favorite Enemies sind.

This video is hilarious!! Funny to see that we could be doing any job, pursuing any career, anywhere we are it’s our personality that will outshine the most, what’s living inside!! You cannot take away the passion of Alex where ever he is, nor Moose’s inner spirituality and teaching skills no matter what country he visits… And Sef will always be Sef! lol!

I have a hard time seing Jeff working on trucks, Miss Isabel not being an artist, Alex not singing, Sef taking care of something as delicate as flowers and Moose being a preacher! lol!! But Ben as a hairdresser?! No problem at all…lol!! Especially after remembering about that night when he created this ”new hair style” for the guys!! It was hilarious…lol!! You remember this pic??

Although all of you guys would have perfectly matched with the careers shown in this video (It’s kind of funny to say that but, I really think so… lol!). I’m glad you chose to gather up as a band! And I’m honored to be part of this crazy adventure we share all together, every day! You guys are awesome! Let’s keep on living the dream life while sharing it with the best people all around!! 🙂

Wow!!! That was truly a blast from the past!!! I remember doing this video!!! I think it was one of the first ones I did!!! I was so nervous!!! But in the end we had such a blast!!!! Filming all the scenes… was simply crazy!!! But the funny thing is that I can see most of the band members doing those jobs!!! Well maybe except for Sef… I think most of the flowers would end up in his stomach instead of in the bouquets! Thanks for bringing back this video!!! Definitely made my day!!
