Your Favorite Enemies is back in studio… Time for Music!
In January 2008, Your Favorite Enemies went back into the studio, after a short break for the Holidays! They were working on the upcoming album, of course, exploring different sounds, and perspectives. This is one thing that hasn’t changed through the years; they’ve always wanted their music to sound like them. It is THEIR very own music, and you can feel who they are through their music. They have more guts now delivering it, I guess, but this desire has never changed.
When they got back in studio, they had the upcoming album in mind, of course… But there was one more thing that was lingering in the back of their minds… Making sure that the song “Open Your Eyes” was ready for March 1st, as this was a very special week-end… People from all over the world would be coming to Montreal to assist the filming of the ”Open Your Eyes” video clip, and spend the whole week-end with Your Favorite Enemies…
But as you know, even though they are a band, even though they’re always together, even though they do everything together, the band members are all very different from one another… And this also shows in the music… All for different reasons!!!

It’s very interesting to discover that Sef has side projects of his own… or would “Your Favorite Enemies” be a side project for him?? That’s an interesting question!! lol! Either way, the cool thing is that Sef is in both projects… and that’s something essential because you can never get enough of this guys’ craziness! Lol! 🙂

I love this video!!! It’s great to see all the creative differences of each band member!! But I must admit that I am not even surprised to see Sef start his own side project!! I mean he’s been talking about this for years… but I do have to ask… what ever happened to this band?? Because after this video… we’ve never seen or heard of them… I guess this is all part of Sef’s master plan!! 😉

I’m curious to know what stopped Sef from going further with his musical initiative ? Cause I haven’t heard of this side project in years… Unless it’s because I am not hanging out in the good clubs… lol! I have to say that I loved what Ben was playing though, I would of enjoyed an entire show of his music! lol

Haha God… That was a great video… I’ve always wondered how Kanu end up in the pig box! LOL Ouf… Butch and Mr. Bullyan were very rude! Now I understand… Note to self: Have to be careful when I walk out of the conveniance store! LOL
Anyways… I still can say that I once was part of Sef’s band… It was a short period… Well… A few minutes… But still! 😀

Man… I love Sef’s chronicles or dramas… I don’t know how we should define them!! There was so much action with him at the time and his surrounding was simply stunning! I wonder if his band will ever do a come back ’cause I didn’t have the chance to see them live!!
