For us, there is no other way of doing things; it’s all or nothing. And this is why this project has been so meaningful to us. When we started doing “Between Illness and Migration”, we didn’t know what was going to happen. We didn’t know it would be so hard. We didn’t know we would lose everything. We didn’t even know we had something to lose! But now that we look back at it, 5 years after we started working on it, we realize that we’ve come such a long way. We didn’t only find home. We also found ourselves in the midst of it all.
