That concert in Laufen, Switzerland, was the last one of a stretch of 4 in Switzerland. It was the very first time Your Favorite Enemies was playing in that country, and perfect opportunity to meet people we hadn’t had the chance to see before. Somehow, getting there, emotions were at an all time high. We were very early in the tour “Shadows of Dreams to Come”, but it felt somehow as if everything was already disrupted. We were 5 shows into the tour, and already, heated discussions were taking place. But the welcome we’ve received from these people was simply wonderful. It was warm, and friendly, and it somehow made us feel home. And this is why, amidst the storm that was raging otherwise in everyone’s heart, we could finally relax and be at peace backstage, waiting to get on stage, being one, instead of being divided.
