A night in Liverpool
The band performed last night in Liverpool, at The Shipping Forecast… and it’s been another incredible night!!! We spent a lot of time traveling to and back from Liverpool, but it was well worth it… From the concert itself to the time spent with people before and after, there isn’t one moment that will not forever stay engraved in our hearts! Thank you for sharing those special moments with us… It truly means a lot… You have no idea how much!!!

Eine Nacht in Liverpool
Die Band ist letzte Nacht in Liverpool, im The Shipping Forecast, aufgetreten… und es war eine weitere unglaubliche Nacht!!! Wir haben viel Zeit auf dem Weg zu und von Liverpool verbracht aber es war es wirklich wert… Von dem Konzert an sich bis zu der Zeit, welche wir mit Menschen bevor und nach dem Konzert verbracht haben, gibt es keinen Moment, welcher nicht für immer in unseren Herzen eingraviert bleibt! Danke, dass ihr diese besonderen Momente mit uns teilt… Es bedeutet wirklich viel… Ihr könnt euch nicht vorstellen wie viel!!!

Two years ago, we went on vacation the whole band together, and we met an amazing kid named Jake!! This awesome guy, who is now and forever a great friend of ours, is in a wheel chair, but this isn’t what caught my attention in the first place, but the way he smiled at us! Jake is animated by such a high spirit, I was immediately amazed and inspired by it… One of those moments where you can almost hear a voice telling you to shut up, to listen, and to learn! lol… Well… was there a better way for me to wake up in that van that afternoon in Liverpool hearing that same laugh from outside the window!? Yeah… I haven’t slept that much since we arrived!! lol…
His dad, Barry, was just knocking to see if someone was in there, I couldn’t feel happier deep inside! I just got out and was so glad to see our two brothers who came down from Manchester to see us again! Jake was on fire, of course Stephanie was there, which always helps all of us look better, and despite the grey and cold tone that day had to offer, I was ready to meet one of my personal heroes!! Jake and Barrie were with us during sound checks, made me feel like we were really performing the show as it suddenly became so important for all of us… and, that moment after, where we spent like half an hour taking pictures all together, was something I’ll remember forever…! So much love… So much happiness…
As you can see with the pictures above, Jake and Barrie’s pre-show presence really inspired all of us to forget about all the technicals surrounding that crazy punk rock night, and to fully let go of everything and remember why we do all this… you want to know why we do all this!? Just look at the awesome picture at the bottom right, and all the answers are there!!!! Thanks to all of you who traveled miles and miles to make that night, a true moment of deep inspiration and wonders!!! See you all again soon!!

Vor 2 Jahren sind wir, die gesamte Band zusammen, in den Urlaub gefahren und haben ein unglaubliches Kind namens Jake getroffen!! Dieser unglaubliche Kerl, welcher jetzt und für immer ein großartiger Freund von uns ist, ist in einem Rollstuhl, aber dass ist nicht, was als erstes meine Aufmerksamkeit erregt hat, sondern die Art, wie er uns anlächelte! Jake ist durch so eine Lebensfreude animiert, ich war sofort erstaunt und davon inspiriert… Einer dieser Moment, in dem man fast eine Stimme einem sagen hören kann ruhig zu sein, zuzuhören und zu lernen! lol… Naja… gab es eine bessere Art um im Van, an diesem Nachmittag in Liverpool, aufzuwachen als dieses selbe Lachen von außerhalb des Fensters zu hören!? Yeah… Ich habe nicht so viel geschlafen seit wir angekommen sind!! lol…
Sein Vater, Barry, hat nur geklopft um zu schauen, ob jemand darin ist, ich hätte mich innerlich nicht glücklicher fühlen können! Ich bin einfach hinausgegangen und war froh unsere beiden Brüder, welche von Manchester gekommen sind um uns wieder zu sehen, zu sehen! Jake war Feuer und Flamme, natürlich war Stephanie dort, was uns allen immer hilft besser auszusehen, und unabhängig von dem grauen und kalten Ton, welchen der Tag anzubieten hatte, war ich bereit einen meiner persönlichen Helden zu treffen!! Jake und Barrie waren mit uns während des Soundcheck, es hat mich fühlen lassen als wenn wir wirklich die Show spielen würden, da es plötzlich so wichtig für uns alle wurde… und den Moment danach, als wir in etwa eine halbe Stunde damit verbracht haben alle zusammen Bilder zu machen, war etwas, woran ich mich für immer erinnern werde…! So viel Liebe… So viel Freude…
Wie ihr in den Bildern oben sehen könnt, hat Jake und Barrie’s Vor-Show Präsenz wirklich alle von uns dazu inspiriert alles technische, was diese verrückte Punk-Rock Nacht umgeben hat, zu vergessen und alles vollkommen loszulassen und uns daran zu erinnern, warum wir dass alles machen… ihr wollt wissen, warum wir dass alles machen!? Schaut euch einfach das unglaubliche Bild unten rechts an und alle Antworten sind dort!!!! Danke an alle von euch, welche viele Meilen gereist sind um diese Nacht zu einem wahren Moment von tiefgründiger Inspiration und Wundern zu machen!!! Bis bald!!

Дорога туда и обратно заняла у нас немало времени, но это того стоило… Каждое из мгновений, проведенных с людьми до, после и во время концерта, останется в наших сердцах навечно!
