DANCING CHARLES FIGHTING OLD DEMONS– By Jeff

I’ve been running around all day… but so far it’s great… we had a meeting with some of our family members… it’s always so different and so incredible from city to city… it’s humbling to sit in front of people you love and learned so much from… even if our schedule is so ridiculously tight with the soundcheck, the messages on MySpace and all the meetings we have… it’s always refreshing to sit with the family… to be honest… it’s my favorite part of the day… and today was amazing… Charles was so ecstatic to meet some of the people he’s very close with… you need to understand that Charles is pretty much the laid back guy of the band… you never really hear him, he’s very quiet… but this morning… he was loud… singing and jumping around… everybody was laughing… I’m happy for him, cause I know it’s not easy to be the last one to join a band, especially a band like ours… very family oriented, close and intense relationships bounding each other and all living together for years… so it’s not always easy for him, but he’s such a great guy and even if he’s struggling to deal with all the love we have for him… cause we’ve been waiting 8 years for him, not only to find the right drummer for the band, but to find a brother… but seeing him this morning made us all very happy… cause Charles has no idea how amazing he his… fears and doubts are the strongest demons you have to fight… cause they’re constantly knocking your hope and faith down… so seeing Charles being so beautiful, gave us a little insight of what’s burning inside… empathy and compassion… and during the whole meet and greet… I saw Charles being alive and well like I’ve never seen him before… and we all know this is only the beginning… dance Charles… let confidence be your beat and love be your melody…
