How Great Amazing Can Be

How Great Amazing Can Be
Coming back from the European Tour

As Ben said introducing the video, the 2 weeks we had in Europe have been fantastic… And judging from the blogs that have been released in the previous weeks, I guess it’s easy to say that the memories we have from this tour are as vivid as if everything had happened yesterday!

And you need to understand… When we’re on a plane to go back home to Montreal, we like to sleep… And this sleep is amazingly good!!!! Especially after you spend 2 weeks with almost no sleep at all!

And Matt had a very big desire to sleep… Motion sickness obliged, he took some sleeping pills before getting on the plane, as he usually does. But maybe he abused them a little bit? Judge by yourself… And then judge the level of tiredness we all had… lol!! Matt hates doing videos (that has never changed!!!)… And as English is not our first language, well, I guess vocabulary is a little more limited under the effects of sleeping pills… lol!! Hence the “great” and “amazing” that are profusely repeated… lol! But nonetheless, he describes the spirit of the tour with brilliance: the people we met have been at the very core of every thing we did… 🙂

And at the end of the video, you can also witness one of YFE’s very first offices… We were actually working in a garage… a little too hot during summer time, and too cold during winter… And notice our amateur electric system, hanging just above the table… Yeah, we were young and careless… lol!

PS: Notice that Sef, just beside, is totally uninterested in everything that is going on around him… And he’s sleeping as usual… Oh wait! Doesn’t that look just like a Bla Bla Bla? Well, some things never change, do they? lol

Honestly, I need those type of moments on a daily basis! To just let go of everything and laugh to the point where your stomach hurts!!! Bring us more of these sleeping pills…lol Matt is hilarious!!
And then we wonder why as soon as we go in a public place, we automatically get noticed!!?! Long bears and black hoodies have nothing to do with it…lol!!! If it’s not for Kanu dressing like a girl in a huge market, food fights in our backyard, Sef’s bed suddenly appearing on the front lawn…it’s not a normal day for us!!

I love it this way…Life has a lot more taste and color for me!

Ahahaha! I like how you describe what those “normal” moments are for each and every one of us! lol! Well, it may not be like that every day, but every day sure has its own dose of craziness, that takes different shapes from a day to another!!!

I feel so privileged I had the chance to be there, next to Matt…and I’m not only talking about the whole tour here…but more precisely about this moment when he was sharing about how awesome and great the entire tour was!! Haha!! And you’re right Steph, no matter the state he was in…his words were perfectly describing the whole tour!! And being reminded of those moments was just amazing…or should I be saying great?? Haha! Thanks Steph for bringing back all those great memories of our first tour, through all the blogging you have been doing over these past few weeks!! Looking forward to live it again!! Marjo 🙂

It was a real privilege for me to share these moments on the road, but to go back to them as well, through pictures and videos, and to be able to share them with even more people, some for the second time, others for the first… It’s truly been something I enjoyed!!!!

First off, I must say I was surprised to see myself with that little ball of hair on my head and my arms still pure and clean before I went wild..lol!!! I remember clearly how I hated to do videos but when I saw Matt I told myself, ”ok I’m not that bad”! We were so exhausted and it was so hilarious to see him trying to make sense while being completely passed out … you can notice the cuts in the video because in fact…he couldn’t stop talking. After watching this I can really say that Matt has become another person and you don’t have to be scared anymore..lol!! Amazing !!!

But has Matt really changed that much??? Well, maybe is this video the reason why he dislikes doing videos so much now??? Maybe… who knows?! lol!

Another great video to bring us down memory lane 😉 No matter how tired and exhausted Matt was, you can see that it was really important for him to share his heart!! Because that tour truly was amazing, great and so much more!!! Memories that will last forever, and an adventure that has made who we are today!!! Thank you Matt for showing us how great amazing can be 😉
